EDC Challenge Coin

Everyday Carry (EDC) Pistol

In light of recent events, such as the Greenwood Indiana mall shooting, we know that responsibly-armed citizens are well-trained citizens.

Are you?

In the Indiana incident, the sheriff praised the citizen saying he "engaged the gunman from quite a distance with a handgun, was very proficient in that, very tactically sound..."

  1. Can we ever be prepared enough?
  2. In a similar situation, would you be "very proficient"?
  3. Do you feel "very tactically sound"?

Let our EDC instructors help. Learn best practices and practice the skills you need to survive a violent confrontation.

Complete the series and receive the 22three EDC challenge coin.

As of March 20, we have lowered the cost of the class to $75. We hope more people will enjoy taking advantage of this level of instruction. Yes, it's crucial, but we make sure it's fun, too.

Cost/Time: $75 for each 2-hr. class

Dates: See our full training calendar; or link to dates and sign up online. Of course, we also love it when people call or stop in. One article about the Greenwood, IN shooting can be found here.

Holster Draw EDC

Holster Draw EDC is a great way to begin to "release your inner agent". Begin learning to draw like the pros and shoot close quarters (as in, really close). In our EDC pistol series at 22three, we give you opportunities to do things you normally can't do during a typical day at the range.

Why: Having a safe, effective draw stroke will increase the safety and protection of you and those around you.

Prerequisite: Quality CCW class or equivalent. Students should be comfortable functioning the gun without assistance: loading, racking the slide, unloading, etc., and have a solid understanding of proper grip, sight alignment and trigger press.

Required Equipment: reliable handgun; strong side, outside the waistband holster that doesn’t collapse on drawing; 50 rounds ammo; cover garment; at least 1 spare mag with mag holster (or spare speed loader for revolver); no Serpa holsters please.

In the Dark EDC

Let's shoot lights out! Now's your chance. At 22three, we want you to further "release your inner agent" while you move and shoot, take cover, and handle it! Students will gain valuable experience incorporating best practices in low-light tactics, including low-light shooting with a police bar.

Safety remains paramount. Because of the low-light environment, you'll want to know that all students in the class are safe and have completed all needed prerequisites.

Why: Because bad guys like to take advantage of darkness and we want to use our skills for good and not evil.

Prerequisite: All EDC classes up to this point: Holster Draw; Deal With It; Take Cover; Engaging Multiple Threats; and Advanced Movement/Alternative Positions EDC.

Required equipment: reliable handgun; strong side, outside the waistband holster that doesn’t collapse on drawing; 150 rounds ammo; at least 1 spare mag with mag holster (or spare speed loader for revolver); no Serpa holsters please.

A Light in the Dark EDC

Now that you've started to get used to shooting int he dark, let's turn the tables and use tactical flashlights in your favor. Your "inner agent" will appreciate knowing the how-to's of choosing and using tactical flashlights, and putting new skills to the test with low-light, live-fire shooting scenarios.

Why: Because bad guys often like darkness, let's flip the tables and use tactical light to our advantage.

Prerequisite: In the Dark EDC and all other EDC classes up to this point.

Required equipment: reliable handgun; strong side, outside the waistband holster that doesn’t collapse on drawing; 150 rounds ammo; at least 1 spare mag w/mag holster (or spare speed loader for revolver); no Serpa holsters please. Several light options will be available for student use, or you may purchase during the class at a discount.

Cancellations within 72 hours of the start time are no longer eligible to be rescheduled and are forfeited. Thank you for understanding that our class spots are limited and valuable.

A note about winter classes: Thankfully, we have never had to postpone or reschedule a class due to weather. We know our customers have gone out of their way to rearrange schedules, ask off work, etc. to take their classes on specific days. We respect that and are super happy you chose 22three. We want to honor your time and will run classes as scheduled unless there is a Level 3 snow emergency.
